2010 Season Opener – Sunday May 30th
The RCGears Nitro and Electric off-road club race season is ready to start for the season!
Sunday May 30th at 10 am we will be hosting our first club race at the re-designed outdoor track located at 4125 80th AVE NE Calgary, Alberta. The season opener will follow the standard format of running three or four time qualifying heats. Your position in the qualifiers, will determine which pole position you are awarded to start the main event.
When you arrive at the Calgary track location on Sunday, first go to the race directors booth and sign-in and pay your race day fee, or purchase a membership and use one of your free race days for the event!
During the season opener, we will also be offering memberships at a reduced rate. If you purchase a membership it includes two (2) free race days and two (3) free practice days. So
1) Individual Membership $35 (save $15)
Purchasing an Individual Membership gives you the opportunity to enjoy all race and practice days as a discounted fee. Race day fees are only $10 and practice fees are $5. In addition to this discount, the purchased membership also comes with two (2) free races days and three (3) free practice days.
2) Family Memberships $50 (save $20)
Purchasing an Family Membership gives two people in the same household the opportunity to enjoy all race and practice days as a discounted fee. Race day fees are only $10 and practice fees are $5. In addition to this discount, both family members receive two (2) free races days and three (3) free practice days. Additional family members can be added for a $20 per person.

Will there be open practice and for how long before the racing starts? I have to get my engine tuned…
Racing starts at 10am, so you can practice between 9 and 10 am.
