We’ll be having our membership drive again this year at PM Hobby on both April 7th (10-3pm) and 8th (12 – 5pm). We’re looking forward to seeing everyone out again to take advantage of the savings for the racing season. To speed things up during the drive if you could print the forms off the website, if you’re unable to we’ll have some there. The cost will be same as last year ($10.00 off regular price) and you’ll also still receive the free practice nights as well.

Joining RCGears has never been easier! With three types of memberships available, we are making it easy to save you money and increase your track exposure!

These memberships can be purchased either at the track or during our membership drive events!

To make signing up quick and easy, bring the following two forms filled out when you are ready to sign up!

Liability Waiver

Individual Membership – $50
Purchasing an Individual Membership includes all practice days FREE and a discounted race day fee of $10 for a regular club race!

Youth Membership – $40
A Youth membership is available to anyone under the age of 16. It comes with all the same benefits of a individual membership at a reduced rate!

Family Membership – $70
Purchasing a Family membership gives two people in the same household the opportunity to enjoy all practice days free and a discounted race day fee of $10 per family member.

Additional family members can be added for $20 per person

Assigned Pit Space – $75
RCGears has a large pit area with more then enough room for everyone. However, if you wish to purchase an assigned spot allowing you to pit in the exact same location, this option is available. Assigned pit space are sold as first come first served basis.

Non Member Fees
RCGears is a fun and challenging place to run your radio controlled off-road vehicles. We encourage everyone to come out and give the track a try, or test their skills against others on a race day.

Practice Free – $10
Race Day Fee – $20

I’m sure we’re all ready to get on the track and that time will come soon. This coming race season we’ll be running the same classes as we have in the past (nitro/electric 8th scale, 2wd/4wd SC) and I’ve even heard of racers wanting to bring out monster trucks. We’re also planning on running Wednesday night electric racing, 50/50 racing series again and of course the “Nitro Stampede” race.

In the coming month we’ll let everyone know when the membership drive will be and location.

Private pit spaces will be available again this year. Again we’ll be giving a deadline to have these paid for and again it’s for the space not the structure on it.

Entry Fee’s

$25.00 for each entry (max of 3 entries)

Tech

We’re running this on the honesty system but if we see something out of the ordinary (over 10min on a tank of fuel) we will check accordingly.

Each city will be running this as a trophy race (each city will have TROPHIES) in the same format as they have in the past (Calgary – Nitro Stampede, Medicine Hat – Medicine Hat Shoot Out, Lethbridge – TBA). Point’s will be tallied at each city and set up for the final race date. All funds raised at the club’s will stay at the club’s.

The weather looks like it’s going to be great, so pack up your gear and head to the track for 9am registration on Sunday!

In addition to the race we will be having an awards ceremony and raffle for some great prizes!
